govuk-frontend 5.3 was recently released, containing a new Password Input component.

This is exciting news for two reasons. Firstly, because government websites now have a standard, tested and accessible way of allowing users to check their password inputs. And secondly, because I helped to build it.

I've written another article for the GDS blog, called Simple things are complicated: making a show password option. It's about what I learned while making a show password component for GOV.UK accounts.

I've written another blog post for GDS, called Being a user researcher for a day. It's pretty self explanatory, but I guess I could ramble on about it a bit more if you're interested.

Read the post yet? Okay, here we go.

I've written my third article for the GDS blog, about dealing with a large amount of form inputs. Read on for a bit more detail.

I've written a blog post! No, wait, I've done this joke already. Let's move on.

I've written another article for the GDS blog, about the use of sticky elements on GOV.UK. Have a read, then read on for some detail I left out.

Sometimes you start building something but it never gets finished. That can be a good thing, because not every idea is a good idea, but sometimes it happens for other reasons. It might be worth doing, but maybe there isn't enough time or money to finish it, or other things take precedence.

This is the story of a project that I started but never finished. I don't know if it would have been good or not, but I'm a little sad that I never got the chance to find out.
