Weirder directions

In my imaginary world, where I have people who comment on this comic, some of them have said to me that recently it seems to be less about being unemployed and more about abstract craziness.
I could defend that by saying that I'm taking the time to point out the amazing amount of effort you'll find yourself going to when unemployed to do really pointless or certainly less important things, rather than getting on with hunting for jobs. Did I do any job hunting today? Well, no... but I have cleaned the oven! And I sorted my books by author. And I ironed all my sheets. And I watched a really interesting documentary about shrimp that I've been meaning to see for ages...
But really I'm just bored and playing around with ideas. And yes, you can add 'doing a webcomic' to the end of the previous list.
