These last two pages (this and the next one) became a bit of a challenge for the simple reason that I didn't realise how visually dull they would be when I was writing. In fact, I re-wrote the end of this story to make it longer. Originally there was only a single page of 'questions from the fans' but that left the story at a mere 5 pages, which seemed a little short. In case you're worrying, the obvious trend of these things shrinking in length isn't continued after this story. I just wanted to not always feel like I was struggling along into a monstrous project that went on forever.

So really here I'm relying on the strength of my writing to carry the reader along. I guess you're the judge of whether I succeeded or not. I had to re-write some of this dialogue while putting these pages together because a lot of it was too long to fit.

Interestingly (or not) Lobot wasn't cast as the second character here until it came time to film this episode. Having seen his earlier work hosting the commentary for 'The Match' I decided he had the skills, and fortunately, the producers agreed with me. Originally, C-3PO auditioned for the role, but the change was deemed necessary when 3PO was introduced last minute at the start of the episode. Somehow it didn't seem appropriate to have a chainsaw-wielding droid suddenly drop in at the end being all passive and polite.
