One of the reasons I thought this would be an easy story to make was because for some reason I thought I wouldn't have to bother making anything new, or setting up any existing sets. Unfortunately, that was true for the first two panels on this page, and then it seemed like every panel after it needed something new building. Sigh. Although much of the time I've taken shortcuts.

And yes, that is my keyboard. The sharp-eyed among you may have noticed that, yes, the monitor isn't on.

After the first paired panel 'joke' here, I suddenly discovered the wonderment of setting up the second shot out of focus behind Crankled (panel 3). It's a fairly simple effect, but I'm amazed at how well it came out. Look, it's all arty or something.

I like the idea hinted at in panel 4 that these characters are all just actors on a show, and that in real life they dress differently (although despite his suit, the Stormtrooper does still wear that helmet in 'real life', obviously). That's a Tusken raider on the far right, and also (drum roll) this panel features the first appearance of my newly-purchased Han Solo minifig. You can't see too clearly, but it's the one with the belt and holster pattern on his legs, much more detailed than my previously-used ROTJ skiff Han Solo. Bricklink, I salute you.
