This page contains my first efforts to give these characters some kind of expression relevant to what they're currently saying. I'd originally planned to have a kind of minifig head display box from which I could choose the most suitable face for a character to be wearing, but as of now I'm still scrabbling around in boxes trying to find the right face to fit. I'm not sure it works in all situations anyway. Luke looks more evil than anything else in panel one, for instance (he's meant to be exuding an aura of revelation-ensuing contemplation, in case you were wondering).

And behold, in panel three, the Rebel football team is finally revealed. For those of you who haven't seen Star Wars, let me explain. Throughout the films, a highly well organised and funded military organisation (the Empire) is consistently thwarted by characters who have been designed chiefly to appeal to children, rather than survive on a battlefield (although somehow, they manage both). Hence, Jar-Jar Binks, R2-D2, and the Ewoks are the Rebellion's "finest warriors", even though in real life, they'd get absolutely flattened. I decided to have Han play the part of the realist in this comic since he mostly does that very well in the films.
