A web site for sailing holidays on the Norfolk Broads.
I built the original version of this site over ten years ago - some flat HTML pages with a few photos. Today, the Quanternet has progressed into a catalogue of photos, videos, songs and information about the cruises, for those who've been to enjoy, and to provide an introduction to those who've yet to experience them.
Features: Photo searching, data driven menu system and site map.
Snapd started out as an exercise in learning how AJAX works. After some time perfecting the site (and learning a little about jQuery along the way) I ended up with a fully working photo album that I've been slowly populating ever since.
Somewhere to store the things I occasionally draw.
Lines is a bit quiet these days, since I've no longer got the spare time I used to for simply playing around with pencils and graphics tablets. But it still showcases some of my drawn work (the good and the bad) in the hope that one day I will again have time to devote to my neglected hobbies.
A few years ago I registered a domain to host some of my personal creativity online. You probably came via the main page already to get here. I'm constantly tinkering with the site, either adding content or refining code. Most of my personal sites are hosted here.
Features: Changing CSS (did you notice? Go back and hit refresh a few times).
A web site commissioned to promote the work of author Nic Peeling.
Nic Peeling is an author whose book I once illustrated. This is the website I then built for him to promote the UK version of the book, "Brilliant Management".
Features: A cartoon penguin and some nice clean HTML.
A web site for mathematics resources in Gloucestershire.
Glosmaths was commissioned to support the learning and teaching of mathematics in Gloucestershire. It's a fairly uncomplicated site, designed to look crisp and professional. You can browse through pages of maths resources and information about courses.
Features: Page by page item browsing, form controls for filtering.
I was asked to take an existing flat HTML site and completely redesign and rebuild it in PHP, while still allowing it to work around the existing customer login system. The work also included installing the new site and training on its use.
